Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's Earth Symphony (映画ドラえもん: のび太の地球交響楽(シンフォニー), Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no chikyū shinfonī) is a 2024 Japanese animated science fiction adventure film. It is the 43rd film of the Japanese animated series Doraemon created by Fujiko F. Fujio. Directed by Kazuaki Imai with a screenplay by Teruko Utsumi, it is expected to tướng be released on March 1, 2024.[1]

The story focuses on a musical adventure of Doraemon, Nobita and their friends. The catchphrase of the film is “Music exists in everyday life. But, what if music disappears from the earth?"

Kazuaki Imai, who directed Doraemon: Nobita's Treasure Island (2018) and Doraemon: Nobita's New Dinosaur (2020), returned to tướng direct the film. Teruko Utsumi took the responsibility of the writing of screenplay who has written screenplays for many episodes of Doraemon.

Scenario setting[edit]

Kazuaki Imai stated that he got the idea of the story of the film during the lockdown period of COVID-19 pandemic. He said, "When I finished directing my previous work "New Dinosaur", the world had changed in an unexpected way due to tướng the pandemic caused by the Novel coronavirus.
